Cory’s Story

I was diagnosed with a severe genetic condition and I continue to have drug resistant seizures today. I have been told and I am currently being told that there is no “cure” for my condition or my case. I am ok with this, but I doubt that all doctors are aware that epilepsy has its limits. I’m currently on a feeding tube for uncontrolled weight loss.

I am going to be 33 years old and I have been having uncontrollable seizures for almost 15 years. The photo is me at my heaviest around 350 lbs. I’m lucky to break 150 lbs now.
