A Presentation for People with Epilepsy and Their Caregivers; Anyone Interested In Learning More about Epilepsy and Seizures Is Welcome to Call In.

The Epilepsy Center of Excellence and the Employee Education System are proud to announce a series of audio conferences providing education and training to patients and caregivers to improve the health and well-being of Veteran patients with epilepsy and other seizure disorders.

Outcome Objectives:                                                           

  1. Learn how to prevent or treat common seizure triggers in epilepsy.
  2. Understand the importance of treatment of epilepsy with additional tools different than medications only.
  3. Know other kinds of seizure precipitants that patient with epilepsy should be aware of.
  4. Get an overall knowledge of keeping your wellbeing mind and body connection to reduce stress; which is one of the most common trigger factor of seizures.
