Director of Development
Meg brings to CURE experiences from two of the largest voluntary health organizations --The American Cancer Society and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society—having worked with special events, individual giving, strategic philanthropy, sponsorship, and stewardship.
While at the American Cancer Society, Meg was responsible for $4.3 million in revenue through a multitude of revenue streams. Under her direction at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, several events thrived, meeting and exceeding their budgets; she laid the groundwork for a very successful individual and major gift department; and was closely involved with the largest endurance sport fundraising program in the world, Team in Training.
Because of her work with participants and donors, Meg brings with her strong experience in collaboration and enjoys helping volunteers experience the discovery of realizing what they can bring to a cause.
A graduate of Hollins College in Virginia with a BA in Psychology, Meg and her husband Joe share their South Loop condo with their wonderful daughter, Riley, who is the light of their lives.
